7/8" Ready Mix Rock Details

Also known as:	#5 Rock or 7/8” Drain Rock
Specifications:	1.38 ton/cubic yd = 2760 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	washed, clean round aggregate, sorted through 7/8 square screened cloth
Primary Uses:	Coarse aggregate in concrete mixes, drainage aggregate in trenches or footings where specified

Concrete Sand

Also known as:	Builders Sand
Specifications:	1.27 ton/ cubic yard = 2540 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	homogenous blend of sand particles ranging in size from #4 - #200
Primary Uses:	fine aggregate in concrete mixes, fine aggregate in mound system septic services, “grout” for patio pavers

Drain Rock

Also known as:	1½ Washed Rock
Specifications:	1.34 tons per cubic yard (2680 lbs per cubic yard)
Properties:	washed, clean round aggregate, sorted through a 1 ½ square screen.
Primary Uses:	bedding gravel in septic fields, drainage rock in french drains, bedding for rigid pipe

Pea Gravel

Also known as:	N/A
Specifications:	1.36 tons/cubic yard = 2720 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	washed clean round aggregate sorted through ½ square screen cloth
Primary Uses:	coarse aggregate in special concrete mixes, self compacting bedding for flex pipe

Mortar Sand

Also known as:	Mason Sand
Specifications:	1.27 tons /cubic yard = 2540 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	washed fine sand
Primary Uses:	fine sand for concrete grout and mortar

5/8" Crushed Rock

Also known as:	5/8" Minus, 3/4" Minus, top course, C.S.T.C, Driveway Gravel
Specifications:	1.30 tons/cu bic yard = 2600 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	mechanically fractured, angular aggregate graded for size from 5/8" to -0
Primary Uses:	Base rock for either concrete or asphalt paving, top rock on gravel roads, or also bedding for rigid pipe

1 1/4" Crushed Rock

Also known as:	1¼" Minus, base coarse, C.S.B.C.
Specifications:	1.39 tons/cubic yard = 2780 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	mechanically fractured, angular compactable aggregate graded for size from 1 1/4" minus to -0
Primary Uses:	base rock for asphalt paving or gravel roads, also backfill for trenches and walls

Washed Fill Sand

Also known as:	Utility sand, Coarse washed sand
Specifications:	1.31 tons/cubic yard = 2620 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	coarse blend of granular aggregate ranging in size from 3/16” to #200
Primary Uses:	trench backfill, sand box, horse arenas

Bunker Mix

Also known as:	N/A
Specifications:	2740 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	blended mix of 3/8" ready-mix rock and concrete sand, suitable for 5 sack concrete (55% - 45%)
Primary Uses:	making concrete

Quarry Rock

Also known as:	Hard rock, Ledge rock
Specifications:	2280 lbs per cubic yard
Properties:	quarry sourced aggregate available as 2” R & R ballast, 2 X 4, and 4 X 8
Primary Uses:	road ballast, construction entrances, lining ditches & gabion walls

Pit Run

Also known as:	Borrow, Gravel Borrow, Structural Fill
Specifications:	N/A
Properties:	naturally occurring virgin granular material, size range -0 - #200
Primary Uses:	backfill material or processed to make all of the above (except Quarry Rock)

2 1/4" Recycled Concrete

Properties:	crushed, recycled concrete highly compactable size range from 2 1/4" – 0
Primary Uses:	road base, backfill material

Who do we call for delivery?

We deliver to Snohomish, Island, and Skagit Counties. 

For delivery in Snohomish or Island County please call (360) 425-5791
For delivery in Skagit County please call (360) 856-0422

Aggregate deliveries are available in solo or truck and trailer.

Our solo trucks can hold up to 15 yards.

The width of our dump trucks are approximately 10 feet, the trucks mirrors stick out further and prefer a 12 foot width opening.

Remember to look above and see if there are branches or wires that may interfere with your truck delivery.

Do we deliver on Saturday?

We do deliver on Saturdays.  Remember to plan ahead.

Do I need to be on site when delivered?

You do not need to be onsite when we deliver your aggregate.  The dump location will need to be clearly marked and payment arrangements made ahead of time.  Please tell us if you do not plan on being there.

How can I pay?

You can either pay cash, check, or credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) to the driver or call us with your credit card information prior to delivery.

Can we "spread" the rock in my driveway?

Providing there are no branches and wires in the way we will spread the gravel. A "spread" is when the driver dumps the rock out while moving forward using the tailgate to help control the flow of the rock. This is a courtesy we provide for our customers.

How does the pricing work?

The pricing is based upon the location, product, and fees.  We can give you an estimate and approximate dollar amount.
